7 Creative Hostess Gifts You’ll Want To Give This Holiday Season

Whether it’s an elaborate dinner party or a simple cocktail gathering, hosting is hard work! So, next time you’re invited to a festive affair, why not say thank you to your favorite host and hostess by surprising them with a fun and original gift? I’ve compiled a few buzz-worthy hostess gifts that are bound to make any entertainer feel appreciated!

Skip The Wine, Bring Homemade Alcohol

Swinging by your local grocery or wine store to pick up a bottle of red, white, or rosé is always nice. But, if you really want to gift your host something to remember then channel your inner mixologist and make your own boozy drink. Try a homemade sangria or limoncello. You can also make a bigger batch of these delicious coffee bombs or these bubbly champagne mojitos!

Homemade Anything

Nothing says ‘thanks for having us’ more than taking the time to make create a homemade dish for the night’s meal. Obvious choices are a tray of brownies or a cake. But I also like to bring homemade salad dressings in a jar or buy a pretty platter for my host to keep and top it with a few homemade nibbles.

Cookie Mix In A Jar

These are simple to throw together, extremely affordable, and really make an impression! Grab a mason jar and fill it with ingredients for your favorite cookies. Carefully layer the flour, sugar, and fun add-ins (like chocolate chips or M&Ms) to create a pretty presentation. Then, decorate the jar the colorful fabric and/or ribbon! Don’t forget to print out instructions on what wet ingredients they’ll need to add and how long to bake.

A Cookbook

It’s a gift that keeps on giving! When gifting a thoughtful collection of recipes, make sure to think about what type of cuisine your host enjoys cooking and eating. In my book, FOOD YOU WANT For The Life You Crave, I offer up flexible recipes that honor your taste preferences and dietary needs! Check it out here!

TOCCA Diffuser

Everyone loves an amazing smelling home! One way I keep my house smelling fresh is with my “Florence” TOCCA diffuser — it makes a generous gift. It diffuses just the right amount of scent without being too overwhelming. The scent is so subtle with a hint of green apple so it would even be perfect for the kitchen!

Holiday Candle With A Bath Soak & Lotion Set

After all that entertaining effort, this gift will offer your host some nice relaxation. I personally love the sets from Williams Sonoma, but you can also get some nice ones at Bed, Bath, and Beyond or even Target!

Magnetic Wine Glass Charms

When it comes to holiday parties, how often do you pour yourself a glass of wine, put it down to do something, and then come back without a clue which one is yours? Next time your hostess friend throws a bash, bring along these adorable magnetic wine glass charms. They’re a fun way to mark your glass and can be reused for many parties to come!
