Hang on … summer isn’t quite over yet! So grab some fresh mint and try this crowd-pleasing champagne mojito.
Traditional mojitos rely on soda water for the bubbles, but why not kick your drink up a notch by substituting for champagne or Prosecco? The extra splash of bubbly booze seriously elevates the classic mojito to a whole other level.
Mojito Making In Action
I used crushed ice, muddled mint leaves, fresh lime juice, white rum, and, of course, champagne. I personally ditch the sugar completely (I like mine tart), but if you like yours sweet then who am I to judge? Add a spoon of sugar, splash of maple syrup, or even orange juice or lemonade.
As always, play around with quantities to find a flavor that’s perfect for you. Cheers!
