When you are ready to entertain again or if you’re always on the lookout for ways to shake up mealtimes at home I’ve got a super fun idea for you: A Japanese bento box! My family and I travel to Japan a lot and every time I’m there, I love to visit the local restaurants and order a bento box. The good news? It’s easy to recreate and bring those memories home. It will probably be a while until we can safely get back to travel or to full-on entertaining so this is a super fun way to bring Japan home and keep your diners safe!
If you wanna go all out, you could make a whole Japanese-themed meal out of it and make a DYI sushi or poke bar and even cheat a little by ordering the miso soups from your favorite restaurant. I’ve got some great at-home sushi recipes for you to try too like my Nori Salmon Rolls or my Mango, Cucumber Salmon Sushi! Enjoy this video as I walk you through an easy step-by-step assembly process. Kanpai!
