Take a moment and review everything you ate yesterday. What did you have for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner? Be honest. Take a mental look at your plate. What percentage of your daily food consumption came from vegetables? One way to make a radical shift in the way you eat is to consider making vegetables – green ones in particular – the main part of your diet. Think of veggies like the foundational layer of any meal. It may sound hard at first, but there are some really easy and creative ways that you can bring more vegetables into your diet every day.
For breakfast: Start with a green juice and then add something to it.
For lunch: Start with a bed of greens and top them with protein and carbs.
For dinner: Place your favorite grilled meat or fish atop a variety of cooked veggies.
