Confession: I have a small (okay, huge) obsession with truffle. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re really missing out! The flavor is hard to describe, but adding fresh truffles or truffle-infused sea salt, olive oil, or butter to food automatically adds an earthy, somewhat nutty, better-than-mushroom, all-around robust flavor. It’s perfect on meat, fish, pasta, bread, popcorn, and so much more.
In today’s video, I’m whipping up the ultimate truffle-lovers breakfast by using a homemade infused truffle butter (you can get that recipe here) to season scrambled eggs and gluten-free toast. Plate it with a side salad and OMG. Let me tell you — this will totally transform your mornings.
