I’m officially back to reality after 8 weeks in Montana. My family has settled into our Hong Kong home and I’m once again dealing with the hustle of daily life — maintaining a healthy household, building The Flexible Chef and juggling commitments. So many things pull at so many of us for attention. Tell me you can relate?
Last summer, I wrote this piece about my Montana summer experience to inspire you to get more big picture thinking in your life, no matter where you are and what you’re challenged by. Despite arriving home to a city addicted to busy my challenge this fall is to stay laser focused on my big picture objectives, and that means saying no to anything that doesn’t support my priorities. You can do this too! Decide what your most important goals are this fall and commit to them by taking things off your plate. I’m super psyched to share all of the new content that my team and I have spent all summer preparing for you. Here’s a peek at what’s to come:
If you follow me on Instagram then you’ll know I’ve been cooking up a storm. I pretty much turned my Montana kitchen into a laboratory and spent most of the summer experimenting. My kids certainly didn’t complain — they were my taste testers! Over the next few months, you can expect to see these new recipes on my blog. You will receive everything from mouthwatering appetizers to tantalizing desserts that are simple and make your time in the kitchen well spent. Make sure to check back often.
I’ve been getting such great feedback from you on my YouTube cooking show that we filmed a whole new season. My film crew and I produced more weekly webisodes that break down many of my written recipes to show you how possible and fun cooking well can be. I know how busy you are, and even when you don’t have much time to prepare an extravagant meal, you still want to eat something that’s both delicious and nutritious. Phew – I’ve got you covered.
