Confession: I’m not a smoothie kind of girl. I prefer my calories in solid form. But milkshakes? I have a soft spot for milkshakes.
The other day I created this creamy and decadent “smoothie-milkshake,” without the ice cream — yum! Nutrition and indulgence all in one. But here’s the best bit: my three-year-old son Liam loved it too. He couldn’t put it down and finished the whole glass, which made me want to jump for joy. If you’re a parent, you’ll know trying to get your kids to eat greens is a challenge.
For the fussy child (or adult) in your life, this recipe is packed with good fats, protein and enough sweetness to help it all go down!
