P.S. Most caramels call for extra ingredients like baking soda or vanilla. Liam's a kid so all he uses is sugar and butter and it is perfect!
Add oil and popcorn into a heavy pot.
Remove from heat immediately when the last kernel pops. Season with salt while still hot.
Heat butter and sugar in a small sauce pot.
Whisk until sugar dissolves and mixture achieves a golden color.
Be careful not to burn!
Pour desired amount of caramel on top of popcorn.
Allow to set for a few minutes in the fridge.
